Journal Indexation is the process of registering or listing a journal in recognized national and international databases to increase its visibility, credibility, and accessibility. Indexed journals are easier to discover, cited more frequently, and recognized for quality and academic integrity.

Objectives of Journal Indexation are to improve journal visibility and discoverability, Ensure accessibility of articles to researchers worldwide, Increase citation and impact factor of the journal, Support accreditation and academic recognition and Promote quality and ethical publishing standards.

Role of the Journal Center:

  1. Guidance & mentoring for journals to meet indexing criteria
  2. Monitoring and evaluation of readiness for national and international indexation
  3. Support for DOI registration, metadata quality, and open-access compliance
  4. Assisting in accreditation (SINTA/ARJUNA) and indexing applications (Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, Crossref, etc.)
